Venmo is a peer-to-peer payment system. It lets you send money to friends and family so that you don't have to deal with cash, but it also provides a social layer. For example, you can see your contact's public transaction history. Users are able to share what they spent their money on and even add emoji’s to their posts. You can then interact with their posts by liking or commenting on them. You can use Venmo to pay anyone in the US, whether or not they have Venmo, but they will need to join Venmo to claim a payment. Venmo is a super engaging and fun tool. You can get a sense of what your contacts have been up to and what they tend to do together. For instance, you might see when a friend split a lunch bill, paid half of a cab fare, or sent money to a roommate for rent. Chapter 7, “Sustaining the Momentum,” discusses appreciative inquiry, action research, scaling up, and assessment and evaluation. Appreciative inquiry is “a valuable approach to sustaining learning and change in communities and networks” (Nussbaum-Beach, 110). In other words,  appreciative inquiry  is a change management approach that focuses on identifying what is working well, analyzing why it is working well, and then doing more of it.
